Chen Zhiping
He is the vice director of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Institute, the president of Zhejiang Astronomical Institute, and the director of Zhejiang Province "Industrial Product Design" Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center. He devoted largely to Optical-electro-mechanical Integration, Astronomical Techniques and Methods, Precision Instrument and Machinery, Industrial Product Design, etc. He graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University and Zhejiang University and received his doctoral degree from the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. In 2007 and 2014, he visited Astronomy Department of University of Florida and Physics Department of Carnegie Mellon University respectively. He served as the dean of the Mechanical Department Engineering, the vice-president of the College of Mechanical Engineering, the deputy dean of Zhuoyue Honors college, the deputy director of the Key University Construction Office, the secretary of the general Party branch and the director of Academic Affairs Office of Zhuoyue Honors college.
