Liu Xing
Born in Wuxi in May. 1970, Liu Xing is an associate professor, the director of Industrial Design department, a member of interior design branch of the Chinese Academy of Architects and a member of Zhejiang Industrial Design Institute. In 1993, she graduated from the Department of Arts and Crafts of Suzhou Institute of Silk Technology which is now Soochow University, majoring in decoration design. From September 2005 to April 2008, she studied product service system design in the Design Department of Milan Polytechnic University, Italy, and obtained the master's degree.
She used to teach in the Department of Design, Jiangnan University. In January 2009, she was transferred to the Department of Industrial Design, Hangzhou Dianzi University. Her main courses include product innovation design, product design procedures and methods, urban facilities design, furniture design, space environment design, urban public environment design, interior design, composition design, etc. She participated in a number of educational reform and scientific research projects and published many papers.
