Industrial Design
Industrial Design is a new subject which integrates natural science and humanities science.
This major cultivates practical talents who can engage in industrial product research and development and practical design affairs. Through the study of this major, students will systematically master the skills necessary for this major, including product design, innovation theory and method, industrial product form creation and basic structure design skills, ergonomics theory and method; And students can have certain skills in graphic design, multimedia design and production, computer aided design and so on.
Product Design
The Product Design specialty of Hangzhou Dianzi University has basically formed certain school-running characteristics after years of development. This major focuses on cultivating students' integrated design ability in the development and marketing of cultural and creative products. "Design" has been rated as the first-class construction discipline of our university, and has been funded by the special financial fund. Moreover, it has applied for and obtained the authority to grant the degree of Art major.
Digital Media Technology
Digital Media Technology is a major that combines theory with practice closely and has strong practicality. The school has set up independent course design practice and in-class experiments for several important specialized basic courses to cultivate students' ability to analyze, solve problems and practice. All the basic professional and technical courses and specialized courses have arranged the necessary experiments or computer and strive to implement, emphasizing the cultivation of students' practical ability.
Vehicle Engineering
Vehicle Engineering is a key major of Hangzhou Dianzi University. With Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory and Zhejiang Provincial Demonstration Teaching Center, this major aims to cultivate high-quality talents with the ability to design, manufacture and test automobile and parts. The major has 15 professional teachers, including 4 professors and 6 associate professors, all of whom have doctor's degrees. This major has "vehicle engineering" second-level discipline master's degree.
Mechanical Design, Manufacture and Automation
This major aims to cultivate senior engineering and technical talents with the ability to apply the basic knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing and automation. To meet the needs of local industries, such talents can be engaged in the design and manufacturing, science and technology development, application research, operation management and sales in the field of machinery manufacturing in the first line of industrial production.
